If offended easily, look away.
For my second term at uni, we were given two different briefs. The second was set alongside an online magazine known as ‘Bull!tt’. We were given multiple topics, which tailored off to consist of 4 or 5 different sections in which a question was asked, in relation to that of the heading. Our task was to produce 4 images to present solely to the creators of the site under one of these headings. I chose the sections ‘Villains and Superheroes’ and under that heading i went with the topic ‘Do you have to be a bastard to be a war hero?’.
Here are 3 of my final images. I took influence from ‘Wikileakes’ videos, online statistics, news articles, suicide ratings etc to achieve my final outcome. My opinion of the army is in no way connected to that which shines through my work. I do have mixed views upon it myself but based alongside my research, this is the route i felt most inspired to take by my findings.

Tonight at work i met the young photographer i studied as inspiration for some of my work from last terms brief, set by the magazine ‘Dazed and Confused’. We had to produce a portrait image which represents ‘the youth of today’.
Words could not express my excitement. He’s 2 years below me, has only been doing photography for 3 years but is the editor of a german magazine and is well published and known in the fashion industry in London and further.
After a brief conversation and swapping of numbers, i feel all the passion i had for photography and admittedly HAD LOST is beginning to come back. It’s weird how the smallest of things, can give you that little kick you need.

This is my beautiful irish friend, Ailene. Her eyes are like pools.
